Jesus Moreno Aguilera

Jesús contrajo matrimonio con Guadalupe Briseño el 17 de octubre de 1957 en Matamoros, México. Jesús fue el propietario y operador de Solid Foundation Repair hasta su jubilación en 2009. Trabajó incansablemente para construir su negocio y transmitió su ética laboral y determinación a sus hijos y nietos.

Le precedió en la muerte su madre, Prudencia Moreno. Le sobreviven su esposa Guadalupe B. Aguilera, con quien compartió 68 años de matrimonio, sus hijos Jesús y María Aguilera, María de Lourdes y Ezequiel Palacios, Norma Leticia y Joel Amaro, Adrián y Theresa Aguilera, Javier Oscar y Guadalupe Aguilera, Olga Lidia Aguilera, Edgar Eluit y Angela Aguilera, y numerosos nietos y bisnietos queridos.

Una cita especial que Jesús solía decir: "Mis más grande orgullo son y siempre serán mi esposa y mis hijos."

El velorio se llevará a cabo de 5 PM a 9 PM el martes 9 de Julio de 2024 en Memory Gardens Funeral Home, y se recitará el Santo Rosario esa misma noche a las 6 PM. El funeral comenzará a las 10 AM el miércoles 10 de Julio de 2024 en Memory Gardens Funeral Home. El rito de sepelio y entierro seguirá en el cementerio Memory Gardens.

Jesus Moreno Aguilera, age 86, of Robstown, Texas, passed away on July 3, 2024. He was born on July 16, 1938, in Guanajuato, Mexico, to parents Jesus Aguilera and Prudencia Moreno.

Jesus married Guadalupe Briseno on October 17, 1957, in Matamoros, Mexico. He owned and operated Solid Foundation Repair until his retirement in 2009. He worked tirelessly to build his business and passed down his work ethic and determination to his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Prudencia Moreno. He is survived by his spouse, Guadalupe B. Aguilera, with whom he shared 68 years of marriage; his children Jesus & Maria Aguilera, Maria de Lourdes & Ezequiel Palacios, Norma Leticia & Joel Amaro, Adrian & Theresa Aguilera, Javier Oscar & Guadalupe Aguilera, Olga Lidia Aguilera, Edgar Eluit & Angela Aguilera, and numerous cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A special quote from Jesus: "Mis mas grande Orgullo son y siempre seran mi esposa y mis hijos" (My greatest pride have been and always will be my wife and my children).

Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 9 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with a Holy Rosary to be recited that same evening at 6 PM. A Funeral Service will begin at 10 AM on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
