Jesus served two honorable years in the U.S. Army, including a tour in Vietnam. He then took a two-year detour, he would later refer to as a major life lesson and the consequence of an adventure. Thereafter, he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Counseling. Throughout his career as a counselor, Jesus helped countless people with their mental health needs.
Jesus was an avid reader and loved learning. With a passion for restoring classic cars and anything with a motor, he treasured his 1962 MGA the most. He was an excellent dancer and cherished listening to music. He also admired all musicians and enjoyed practicing his guitar.
Jesus was a dedicated, supportive husband and father. As a grandfather, he was extremely caring and playful. He was incredible at listening and being present with others. This allowed him to always offer a helping hand to anyone around him. With his contagious smile, warm embrace, and unmatched sense of humor he connected with people in an extraordinary way.
Jesus will be missed dearly and his spirit will forever be etched in our hearts.
