Joel Ray Gilmore passed away on September 25, 2017 at the age of 62. He was born on October 2, 1954 to the late Billy Ray Gilmore and Nell Jones Gilmore in Mathis, TX. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Patty Gilmore; brother, Richard Gilmore and sister, Kathy Moritz. He is survived by his sons, Chas Gilmore (Leah Claire) and Brian Gilmore; nephew, T.J. Moritz; niece, Amanda York (James) and Amanda Talbert, whom he considered as a daughter. Memorial service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Inurnment will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date.
