He is survived by three daughters, Rita Alfaro, Rose Abundez and Anita Flores of Corpus Christi, Texas; one son, Joel Saenz Jr. (Mary) of Longview, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 26 great-great grandchildren. Joel is also survived by one sister, Nina S. Espinosa (Richard) and his extended family of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
