A Corpus Christi resident for the past 20 years, John used his Bachelor’s in Science degree that he earned from the University of Alabama and MBA from Texas Tech University to start his manufacturing companies. John lived an active lifestyle with many hobbies including golf, fishing, snow skiing, bowling and Alabama football. He is a PHI DELTA THETA Alumni. John also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and volunteering with United Methodist Men Ministries as well as in the community.

John was a “real character” and will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor, abundant colloquialisms, smoking a mean brisket, willingness to lend a helping hand and many other incredible talents and skills.

John arrived at Alabama in 1969 not knowing a soul on campus. He joined Phi Delta Theta and graduated four years later as perhaps the most recognized man at the University. Everyone loved him. That's who he was, a really great guy and friend to all.
