John B. Edwards

John B. Edwards, age 70 passed away Wed. May 19th 2010. He was born in Austwell TX July 4th 1939 to the late Tommie and Laura Edwards. John attended Ray High School and joined the US Navy at the age of 17. After leaving the service he went to work for Borden’s milk company and retired after 30 years in 1992. John liked to bowl, golf, fish and hunt. Win or lose he was a dedicated Hooks, Astro’s and Cowboys fan. He was well known for always telling jokes. He was proud of his grandchildren and they were one of the biggest joys of his life. His wife Pat of 49 years survives him as well as two sons Keith (Meya) and Dwight (Lisa), four grandchildren, Alex, Hunter, Parker and Lola. Two brothers, T.W. (Pat) and Clifton (Chris) and one sister, Carolyn Ray (Dale Harms) and many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday May 27th at 11:00am at Cage Mills at 4901 Everhart. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Arthritis foundation or a charity of your choice.
