Jose always enjoyed family time, cooking out, fishing and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys play as well as the Houston Astros.
Jose is survived by his spouse, Cristina Acosta; his daughter Emberlie Acosta; his sons Eric Acosta; Allen McDonald; and Nathaniel McDonald; his father Jose Acosta; a sister Laura Acosta, his two brothers Jaime Acosta and Albert Acosta.
Jose was preceded in death by his mother Mary Ann Acosta and brother Javier Acosta.
A visitation for Jose will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM overnight until 9:30 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Everhart, 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78411, with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 5830 Williams Drive, Corpus Christi, TX 78412.
