Jose Diaz

Jose proudly served his country as a soldier in the United States Army. He went on to work in sales and was mainly self employed. He had a passion for helping others. He often would volunteer at his church and was a very selfless man. He would do anything he could to help someone in need. Jose will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Abraham Diaz and Gertrudis Gerena; and his daughter, Melissa Diaz. He leaves his legacy to his wife, Rosa Diaz; four children, Denice, Lorenzo, Nelson, and Lucinda; nine grandchildren, Eva, Eric, Sade, Alex, Christina, Wesley, Taraly, Marisa, and Charie; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Laura Rodriguez and Lucy Roman; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Holy Rosary will be recited at 11 AM on Friday, February 9, 2024, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Rite of Committal and Interment will be held at 1 PM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
