Franco Family,

"What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. Your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget."

In Memory of a life so beautifully lived...a heart so deeply loved.

Our sincere and most deepest condolences during this difficult time.

Words can't describe what describe what I'm feeling right now. But I do know I'm gonna miss you Compa. You weren't only my compa, you were my big brother my dad one of my best friends. I knew I could always count on you. Whether it be advice about a truck( of course a ford) or how to fix my Ford. I'm really gonna texting and talking to you. Life is way too short especially for you and dad. But just know I love you my awesome role model!!! And we'll see each other one day and I want a big hug from you. They were the best.

Irene, Joey,
We are so sorry for the loss of your husband and father. Joe lived a good life as a caring spouse, dad, brother, son, friend, and productive member of his community.
I remember when I first met Joe after coming to Corpus in 2010, it was at a meeting at the old company. Here I was a newcomer and I was sizing up the room, getting a feel for everyone. I focused in on Joe, the only man taller than me there, and thought to myself, "Big dude, wonder what he's like?" Well, from working with him that first year or so I soon learned that his stature in size was outdone by his big heart, big smile, and calm, upbeat nature. He was a true gentleman and I think you could say he fit the mold of a gentle-giant. I truly enjoyed working with him these past nine years at two different companies.
I always appreciated Joe's input at safety meetings, he most often would offer his comments and knowledge on situations we were discussing. I appreciate it now even more as Alvaro told me that he lost his father in an industrial accident when Joe was 12 or so and I did not know that. I think that safety was very important to Joe and he wanted to impart his wisdom about the job to others around him so they would never have to experience loss. I think that speaks to his generous heart and his true caring about his friends and co-workers.
His love of Fords is right up my alley, too, and I will say when he fired up that hot rod Fairlane leaving work, the office windows would rattle! He kept his cars and equipment clean, and that speaks again to the care he showed in life.
Barbara and I feel for you, Irene and Joey, and we pray for your peace and comfort as you face these difficult days ahead. We all loved Joe, too, and we will not be the same without his daily kindness and good nature. He leaves us with nothing but fond memories and good times and we wish we could have more of. Take care and God Bless the entire Franco family. We miss you Joe!
