Jose Arturo Morales

Jose was a retired H-E-B Hall of Fame truck driver. He worked for H-E-B for 36 years. He was a successful cattle rancher and an Army Veteran.

Jose is preceded in death by his son Jose A. Morales Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Maria A. (Gloria) Morales; his daughter, Anna M. Wallace (David) of Austin, Texas; son, Ricardo Morales (Melida) of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter-in-law Guadalupe T. Morales, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Julia Flores and Olga Silva; brother Oscar Morales.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff of Lighthouse Hospice for the care and support they provided.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Christ the King Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
