

He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Mota Olmos, sister Carolina Mota, father in law Filiberto Alvarez, and mother in law Lorenza Maciel Alvarez.
He is survived by his loving wife; Ann Marie Mota;his mother, Guadalupe Frias de Mota, his children Lee Ann Mota and Michael Alvarez Mota; and grandson John Xavier Mota who was his pride and joy. He also leaves behind to cherish his memories his 5 brothers, Jose Edwardo, Abelardo, Pedro, Jose Alejandro, Ignacio, and Francisco; also his 2 sisters Luz Maria Mota de Ramirez y Juana Maria Mota de Vasquez and several nieces, nephews, and friends who he loved very much.
He was the oldest of 9 children and always took care of his family and friends both near and far. He was a mechanic and welder by trade which he learned from his father Jose. He also loved to cook and spending with family and friends; which he instilled in his children and which will be carried on. He loved watching his favorite sports football, soccer and boxing. He was a humble and wise man who would help out a friend in need and never met a stranger who didn’t become a friend of his.
He taught his children to always help out others whenever possible and to never lose faith in GOD and in family, because those 2 things were always going to be with them - GOD and Family.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 9:00pm on Friday March 6, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel 549 Cheyenne with a holy rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Our Lady of Pilar Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
