Roddy lived a life marked by dedication, service, family, friendship, and love. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, answering the call to serve with honor and commitment. His service was an important part of who he was, and his dedication to his country will always be remembered.
Above all, Roddy cherished the people in his life. He had a way of creating memories that will stay with his family and friends for generations to come. He will be remembered for his strong spirit, his sense of humor, his love of adventure, and the many moments shared with those closest to him.
Roddy enjoyed fast cars, old Western movies, collecting rifles, hunting at the ranch, camping along the Frio River, barbecuing, and watching the famous Three Stooges. These simple pleasures, along with the time spent surrounded by family and friends, were a meaningful part of the life he built and loved.
Roddy was preceded in death by his loving wife, Graciela Sáenz Pérez; his beloved grandson, Roel Andres Elizondo; his parents, Irene V. and Cristobal Perez, Sr.; and his siblings, Christobal “Chris” Perez, Jr. and Eduvina “Duve” Perez Martinez.

Jasso (Jaiden), Carson Schielack, and Grace Rae Perez; and his great-grandchildren: Melody Renee Pike, Mason Alejandro Perez-Puentes, and Jayce Presley Jasso, as well as a great-granddaughter on the way, Melaya Roe Perez-Puentes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him dearly.
Roddy’s life was a testament to the importance of family, friendship, and service. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave will continue to live on through everyone whose life he touched.
He leaves behind a legacy built not only on the years he lived, but on the people he loved and the memories they will carry with them.May he rest peacefully, knowing that he was loved, respected, and will be deeply missed.
Rest in peace, Roddy.
