Jose M. Ramirez Jr.

Jose M. “Joe” Ramirez, Jr., 71, of Corpus Christi, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 9, 2020. He was born in Edinburg, Texas on April 24, 1948 to Jose Ramirez, Sr. and Maria Salas.

Jose graduated from Mary Carroll High School and was married to Anita F. Ramirez on March 22, 2008.

Jose worked at Reynolds Metals of Kansas City, Missouri. He as a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and had a passion of Mission Retreat and being a Eucharistic Minister.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Anita F. Ramirez; parents, Jose, Sr. and Maria; sisters: Diane Flores, Lupe Flores and Ida Ramirez; Brother, Manuel “Mito” Ramirez.

He is survived by his son, Isaac Ramirez, Carlos Barrera Jr., and daughters: Christine Barrera, Grace Barrera, Anna Marie Barrera, Annette Marie (Angel) Barrera and Guadalupe (Dee-Dee) Barrera Siblings: Arnold (Rachel) Ramirez and John (Mary) Ramirez; Mary (Luis Flores, Gloria (Joe) Rios and Lynda (Steve) Guzman. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Josie Ramirez.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral services will be private.

Military honors will be announced at a later date.
