Joe, beloved husband and father, of Corpus Christi, Texas was called home to be with our Lord.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Victoria D. Villarreal; Two children: Joe (Terry) Rosales, Kristle (Ralph) Villarreal; three grandchildren- Chloe Rosales, Paige Rosales, and Mila Tapia.
Joe was born on October 10, 1948 in Portland, Texas. He was the fifth child of Marina and Fidel Villarreal. He married the love of his life on October 10, 1981 where they resided in Corpus Christi, Texas and created a beautiful family together. Joe retired after working for over 30 years at Flint Hills Resources. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and any outdoor activity spent with family and friends.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents Fidel and Marina Villarreal.
Joe leaves behind his loving siblings ✞Mary Lily (✞Roger) Peña, ✞Lelia (Dennis) Guzman, Fidel (Cira) Villarreal Jr., Mary (Charles) Hayes, Santos (✞Lucy) Villarreal, Marina (Abel) Solís, Margaret (Manuel) Villarreal, Virginia (Jim) Cline, Johnny (Yolanda) Villarreal, Beatrice Villarreal, and Nelda (Eddie) Salinas.
He also leaves behind several brother and sister in laws. ✞Aurelio (Dolores) De La Garza, Juan (Maria) De La Garza, Augustin (Carmen) De La Garza, Jose (Martha) De La Garza, and Juanita (DeHaven) Freudiger-Payne. Joe will be greatly missed by the numerous nieces, nephews, and friend as well.
A dear husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and cherished friend to many, Joe will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of life luncheon will follow after the interment will be held for family and family at residence of Eddie & Nelda Salinas, 7000 Buddy Ganem Dr., Portland, Texas.
Visitation for Joe will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel - Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A vigil service and rosary will recited on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A mass of christian burial will held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Ss Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 3210 S Padre Island Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. An interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78415.
