She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank G. Ramirez Sr., and her grandson, Michael M. Garza
She is survived by her five children, daughter, Sylvia Valdez, (Orlando), son, Frank Ramirez, Jr. (Gloria), son, Dan Ramirez, (Vicki), son, Rudy Ramirez (Delia), daughter, Alma May; 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Soila Sanchez.
She was always a proud mother of all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a proud H.E.B. Retiree. She enjoyed attending all the gatherings and meetings held by H.E.B. for their employees. Watermelon and peach seasons will not be the same without her wanting to drive to the hill country for peaches or the valley for watermelons. She will be missed.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Funeraria del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415, at 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service and Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2509 Nogales Street, Corpus Christi, Texas 78416. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
