Juan retired after a dedicated career in the medical field, a path that reflected the steady compassion he carried into everyday life. He was also a proud member of the Salvation Army and volunteered for many years, giving his time with quiet generosity and a sincere desire to help others.
Those who knew Juan will remember a man who found joy in simple, meaningful pleasures—days at the beach, fishing, music, and dancing. He was a devoted animal lover, and Roxy and Khalessi miss sleeping with him. With a true green thumb, he took pride in gardening and caring for his plants. He was also a talented artist who loved to paint, bringing patience and care to each canvas as he did to the people around him.
Juan was a huge Oklahoma City (OKC) Thunder basketball fan and also loved OSU (Oklahoma State University fan), where he attended some courses. Above all, he was known for his compassion and kindness to everyone he encountered, including his patients, family, and friends. He knew no strangers, and his warmth left people feeling seen, welcomed, and valued.
Juan is preceded in death by his father, Jose Morales Adame; his mother, Esther Adame; his sons, Juan Adame Jr. and Codei Adame; his sisters, Sylvia Adame and Mary Deleon; and his brothers, Jose Guadalupe Adame, Raul Adame, Albert Adame, and Ricardo Adame.
He is survived by his children: his daughter, Amanda Adame Walker, and son Dominic Adame; his brother Feliciano Lucio (Liz); his sister San Juana Adame; his brother Jesse Adame (Mary); his brother Samuel Adame (Veronica); and numerous cherished grandchildren.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Christus Spohn Hospital South, Post Acute Medical Specialty Hospital - LTAC, and MD Anderson in Houston, TX; Corpus Christi Reheb Hospital; Aadi Home Health; and Angel Bright Hospice.
