

Juan attended Miller HS in Corpus Christi, Texas and enlisted in the Army.
He married the love of his life, Maria Guadalupe on August 17, 1958 and together were blessed to spend 66 years together. They loved spending time together exploring small Texas cities and finding unique items in antique shops.
Juan was a hard worker and great provider by working for many years at Braslaus Furniture store as a carpet layer and truck driver.
Juan was a Family man! The love he had for his children Mary Ester Martinez, Norma Fernandez, Juan Fernandez Jr., and Melissa Fernandez was unconditional. Family outings to picnic areas, amusement parks and barbeques were enjoyed by all.
His love blossomed with the birth of his grandchildren; Johnny Fernandez (Lesley), Marc Anthony Martinez (Sarah), JonRyan Torres, John Gabriel Fernandez, Klarysa Hernandez, Miranda Fernandez (Abriel Vella) and Jacob Hernandez. He was so proud of each grandchild, and each had a special spot in his heart.
Juan's love for his Great Grandchildren was immeasurable. Mercedes Fernandez, Brooke Fernandez, Luke Martinez, Lexi Martinez, Luna Hernandez, Janessa Vella, Phoebe Vella, Violet Vella, Abriel Vella, Arelo Almanzar.
His devotion to his family was unwavering and he cherished every moment he had with them.
He is reunited in death by his parents Roman and Maria Concepcion. His 10 brothers; Luis, Gilberto, Jacobo, Roman, Armando, Alfonso, Federico, Jesus, Jose, Raul. 2 sisters; Carmen Martinez, and Paula Puga.
Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Maria Guadalupe Fernandez of 66 years, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, beloved sister-in-law; Maria Elena Fernandez, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A public visitation for Juan will be held Friday, January 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A holy rosary will be recited that evening at 7:00 PM. A Chapel Service will occur Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A committal and entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
The family would like to give a special thank you to staff at Corpus Christi Medical Center Dr. Regional, Del Cielo Hospice staff especially Jennifer and Beth.
