Juan Alonzo Gil

He was a graduate of Mary Carroll HS and graduated from Del Mar Tech with an HVAC degree. He was a member of El Mesias Baptist Church. Alonzo was an avid Dallas Cowboys, UT Longhorns, and Houston Astros fan. Alonzo was employed for many years at CCISD as a P.E. Coach at Zavala Elementary and Haas Middle School.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Yolanda C. Gil, his parents Juan Gil Jr. and Guadalupe C. Gil; brother Rick Gil, sister-in-law, Janie H. Gil; father-in law Juan Cervantes and mother-in-law Ignacia Rocha.

He leaves to cherish his memories, children Erica (Michael) Blanco, Al Jr (Laurie) Gil, and Stephanie Gil; grandchildren, Leslie, Leeann, Elizabeth, Adrian, Johnny, and Ethan; brothers Ernest (Gloria), Rudy, Javier (Esilla) and sisters Rosie (Birginia) and Emeralda; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

A Private Ceremony will be held for immediate family only. A Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
