Juan Pedro Gonzalez

Juan Pedro Gonzalez, 72, born on November 8,1949 to Remigio Gonzalez and Aurora Martinez Gonzalez, died on October 13, 2022. Juan graduated from West Oso High School in 1968, Texas A & I University Kingsville in 1972, American University of Law in Washington D.C. in 1976. He returned to Corpus Christi to practice law. After a few years with a law firm he opened his own office. Juan practiced civil and criminal law. He was a prominent court appointed attorney for Nueces County. Juan was an attorney for over 30 years before retiring for health reasons.

As a political science major, politics were very important to Juan. Because of this, he served as a school board member for the West Oso Independent School District for two terms. Single member districts for the city of Corpus Christi became a cause he supported and worked on until they were implemented.

Juan is preceded in death by his parents Remigio & Aurora and brother David. He is survived by his daughters Monica (Rob) Rheinberger and Cindi (Rose)

Gonzalez Guerrero; grandchildren Ambree, Lyndee, Brodee Rheinberger and Luz Andres Guerrero. He is also survived by brothers Ruben (Maria) and Martin (Katy) and sisters Dora Rodriguez, Tereza (George) Sanchez and the greatest little sister ever, An Gonzalez, nieces and nephews.
