Juan Meave Jr.

We are sad to announce the passing of Juan Meave Jr., age 69, Surrounded by his loved ones on Sunday, November 12, 2023. He was born on October 15, 1954, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Juan Meave, Sr. and Margarita Aurora Hinojosa Meave.

Juan was a very hard working man to provide for his family. He loved traveling, camping, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. Juan was happily married to Marta who was his partner in life for 32 years at the time of his death.

Juan is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Meave, Sr. and Margariata Hinojsa Meave.

He is survived by his wife Marta Meave; children: Juan Meave, III, Letty Dunning (Bryant), Leann Ysassi (Manuel), Matthew Meave (Desiree), and Ashley Meave;

15 grandchildren: April Galindo, Juan Caesar Meave, Noah Meave, Ryan Quintanilla, Ezekiel Meave, Natalie Quintanilla, Liam Dunning, Madison Dunning, Ayden Meave, Mia Rodriguez, Layla Meave, Ellen Meave, Emmi Meave, Matthew Meave, Jr., and Destinee Meave; Along with his siblings, nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly and enjoyed spending time with very much.

A celebration of life visitation for Juan will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Holy Rosary and Liturgy Service at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Cheyenne, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m.on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church, 1101 Bloomington St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78416. Cremation to follow.
