

He is preceded in death by his parents along with four brothers: Delfino, Fernando, Inocencio and Ignacio Zaragoza.
Juan was a retired truck driver who lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed being active in local politics and the community. He had a love for baseball and music especially when it came to playing the accordion.
He was a great musician who influenced his grandchildren to carry on his musical talent. He was a loving husband, brother, father, father-in-law, grandfather, uncle and cousin. His memory will be carried on by his loving wife of 56 years, Gregoria V. Zaragoza; sisters, Esperanza Banda, Leonore (Raul) Quintanilla, and Maria Luisa (Antonio) Luna; brothers Dionicio (Aurora), Atanacio (Elvira), and Luis Zaragoza, Jr.; sons, John (Elsa), Joe (Mary Lou), and Joel Zaragoza; grandchildren, Benjamin and Gabriella Zaragosa; numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the love and care provided in his final days by his extended family and friends.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Funeraria del Angel Chapel, 549 Cheyenne St., in Corpus Christi with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 16, 2012 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1625 Arlington Dr. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd. in Corpus Christi, Texas.
