Julia Perez, 50, went to be the with the Lord on April 20, 2021. She was born on March 15, 1971 in Corpus Christi, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister, and three uncles. The Lord gave us a special sister. She was a sweet and beautiful person whom everyone enjoyed being around. Julia’s radiant and glowing smile expressed her love for life. She loved to attend church, sing, help people, make crafts and care for her cats. Her beautiful voice was amazing when she sang to the Lord during Praise and Worship. Julia loved the Lord and spoke to people about him. She always had time to help a friend in need. Her hobby was to make crafts for holidays and special occasions. She created beautiful cards and basket arrangements. Julia was a pet lover. She loved her cats and made sure their needs were met. She was an inspiration to us all. She was a graduate of Foy H. Moody High School (class of 1989). Julia will be dearly missed. Survivors include two sisters, Jeanette Perez and Josephine P. Bravo; one brother Joe E. Perez all of Corpus Christi, TX., several aunts and uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78415. The family will be receiving friends at 8:30 a.m. with a service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Venture Church, 3401 South Alameda, Corpus Christi, TX 78411. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78408. The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice - Palliative Care, the doctors and staff at Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital and Corpus Christi Medical Center, and the pastors from Venture Church.
