Julian Adan Ramirez

Adan Ramirez entered into the loving arms of Our Lord on July 25, 2026 at the tender age of 44. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 16, 1981 to parents, Alma and Julian Ramirez. Some people leave the world a little better than they found it simply by the way they choose to live. Adan Ramirez was one of those people. Through his kindness, generosity, and unwavering willingness to help others, he quietly made a difference in countless lives—both human and animal alike.

Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, Adan graduated from Moody High School before continuing his education at Del Mar College, where he earned his associate degree. He went on to build a career with the United States Postal Service. He was also a proud member of the USPS Union, valuing the importance of service, integrity, and supporting his fellow coworkers.

Adan believed that learning never truly ended. He was an avid reader who enjoyed expanding his knowledge and understanding of the world. Whether reading a good book, listening to music, or picking up his guitar, he found joy in the simple moments that allowed him to relax and express himself. Garner State Park held a special place in his heart, offering him a chance to enjoy nature and recharge. He also cherished trips to EPCOT Center and Universal Studios. He also enjoyed keeping up with world news and was an enthusiastic basketball fan. One of Adan's greatest skill was cooking. The kitchen and the backyard barbecue became places where he could share his love with family and friends.

His compassion extended far beyond the people in his life. Adan had a remarkable love for animals, especially dogs. He rescued several puppies that were only two weeks old, patiently raising and nurturing them into healthy companions. Throughout his life, he continued rescuing and caring for dogs in need, believing every animal deserved a chance to be loved and protected.

Adan's generosity supported numerous charitable organizations. Whether offering advice to a friend, lending a helping hand to someone in need, supporting a worthy cause, or rescuing an abandoned animal, he gave freely without expecting anything in return. Those who knew Adan knew they could always count on him. He loved to laugh, and always made others laugh as well.

Adan will be remembered by his parents, Julian and Alma Ramirez; siblings, Julian Ramirez III (Kim Ramirez), Michelle Rodriguez, and Daniel Ramirez. Nieces, Lorena Ramirez, and Elena Gomez who is also his god-daughter (Eddie Gomez); nephews, Joel Ramirez, Nicolas Rodriguez, Alex Rodriguez, Adrian Rios Vela and Andrew Rios Vela; numerous aunts, cousins and extended family, friends, coworkers, neighbors and medical staff. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy will continue to live on through every life he helped, every animal he rescued, every meal he lovingly prepared, and every act of generosity inspired by the example he set. His memory will forever remain a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, TX 78405, US, on August 8, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by the Holy Rosary at 11:30 am at the same location.

A Mass of The Resurrection will take place at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church, 1101 Bloomington St, Corpus Christi, TX 78416, US, on August 8, 2026, at 1:00 pm, with a Committal Service to follow at Memory Gardens, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78415, US, on August 8, 2026, at 2:30 pm.
