She is preceded in death by the father of her children, James L. Douglas, Sr., a son, Richard Anthony, and granddaughter, Angela Marie.
Julie was the epitome of the virtuous woman, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and missionary.
Her zest for life influenced many. Julie had a passion to reach the nations for Christ and that she did by supporting hundreds of families in Mexico for over the last forty-five years.
Julie leaves a Christ centered legacy with her children and grandchildren. Mom always said, “With Christ all things are possible”.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Apolonio Cuevas, her children, James Douglas Jr. (Sylvia), Gabriel Douglas (Letti), Jackie Douglas, Kirk Douglas (Shari), Kathy Douglas, Kara Douglas-Smith. Siblings, Grace, Raul, Mary, Bertha, Sylvia, Amparo, Elva and Richard.
She was blessed with twenty-five grandchildren, and thirty-five great-grandchildren.
A special thanks to my mom’s nurses Vicky Aubin, Diana Moreno, Jessica Martin with Serenity Hospice.
Proverbs 31:29 “Many women do noble things”, but you Mom have surpassed them all.
