Karen Arlene Follin

Karen Arlene (Scott) Follin was born on Friday, November 4, 1960. Karen was born and raised in Baltimore and later in life decided to move to Corpus Christi, Texas, where she has lived her life for the last 30 years in South Texas. Karen was 65 years old when she comfortably gained her angel wings on Friday, December 12th, 2025.

Karen lived a simple but sweet life. She deeply loved her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Karen loved her feathered babies Angel, Oscar, Alex, and Alexa (birds) and adored her fur babies, Brutus and Lucky (dogs). She would always talk to them 24/7. Karen loved gardening and planting, she enjoyed watching WWE wrestling, NASCAR racing, and crime shows on the ID Channel. Karen truly living her life to the fullest. Karen She was always nagging for a Coca-Cola and a pack of cigarettes, and she had to have her coke every day and she always got one.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Melvina "Ruth" (Holland) Scott and Leon Scott; Charles “Chuck” Scott,

Linda Scott, James"Jimmy" Scott, sister Melvin "Mel" Scott, and Thomas “Tommy” Scott. Karen is also preceded in death by many relatives and friends who she loved dearly.

Karen leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, her soulmate and best friend of 17 wonderful years, Clint Hampton.

She is also survived by her daughter, Heather Arlene (Fox) Peña (Fred) son; Franklin C. Fox Jr. (Melissa) son, Brandon L. Bigelow son, Eric B. Scott son, and Matthew R. Mister; grandchildren Ashley J. Fox, Tiffany R. Fox-Peña, Alex Fox, Nate Fox, Kelso Bigelow, and Olive Bigelow; and her great-granddaughter, Kaylani N. Fox. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Rest easy, beautiful angel. We all love and miss you dearly.

A memorial dinner and service to honor Karen Arlene (Scott) Follin will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at Butter Churn, located at 1275 Highway 35 Bypass, Aransas Pass, TX 78336.

There will be an all-you-can-eat buffet with salad bar and dessert bar, including drink refills. The cost will be $17.50 plus tax per person for those who wish to pay their respects.
