Kenneth Stanley Swilling

Kenneth was a man of great integrity and generosity.

His passions were fishing, hunting, and always being right. He worked for the oilfield 10 years followed by refinery work for 25 years and then retired in 1992.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Margarett Jeanette Swilling; his son, Joseph Michael Swilling; his grandson, Dustin Page Wilson; his sister, Robbie Phieffer and his parents, Doris and Burt.

He is survived by his children: Mark (Terrie) Swilling, Cynde Wilson, Matt Swilling, Janice (Rodger) Michels, Luke (Martha) Swilling, John (Marguerite) Swilling, Mary (Richard) Chesney, Angie (Joseph) Kalinec, Julie (Steve) Cotter and Sandie (Mark) Jessen. He also leaves behind to cherish his memories his grandchildren; Paul, Carolina, Jamie, Jason, Hope, Chris, Kayla, Tara, Gary, Kathryne, Aubrey, Katie, Kim, Emily, Carrie, Andrew, Kyle, Kenneth, Chris, Cason, Sarah, Taylor, and Casey: his beloved great- grandchildren, Parker, Carson, Collin, Thorne, and baby girl Hannaford; also his nieces and nephews, Leslie, Lynette, Tim, Robert, Celia and Dennis.

Family will be receiving friends at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 22, 2013. Funeral Services follow on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd., Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
