Lana K Hillmer

Lana Kay Hillmer, age 65, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017. She was born in Cuero, Texas on August 27, 1952. Lana graduated from Alice High School, class of 1970. Lana worked as an ad saleswoman for Alice Echo News and the Kingsville Record for many years. She had a passion for gardening, traveling, and collecting antiques.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Ray Hillmer, Jr. of Pasadena, Texas, and daughter, Kerri (Lee) Brasher of Waxahachie, Texas and father of her children, Jimmy Ray Hillmer; her grandchildren Shea Hillmer, Kaycee (Russell) McElwee, Jimmie Hillmer III, Dylan, Ezekiel Hillmer and Dustin Brasher, her brother Aron Fertsch, her sister, Wolle Huff and her life partner, Guy Thornton.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 7th, 2017 at 2:00pm at Cage Mills Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas.
