Leonard Clayton Sullivan was united with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 8, 2021, at the age of 82. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 23, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Tx, with Rev. Philip Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. immediately preceding the service.
Leonard was born March 7, 1939, in Alice, Texas, the son of Chester and Hazel (Boone) Sullivan. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Billy Sullivan. He is survived by a brother, Ron Sullivan and wife, Barbara; a sister-in-law, Peggy Sullivan; a niece and several nephews.
He was raised in Freer, Texas where he enjoyed playing football for the Buckaroos. In later years, he became an avid fisherman. Leonard was a hard worker and will be remembered for his quiet nature and his love of “Dove” chocolate candy.
