Leroy Arnold Salter

He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired from Central Power and Light as a superintendent. Leroy enjoyed traveling with his wife Betty in their motor home especially to the state of Alaska. He will be missed dearly by all his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Evelyn Sullivan (Bob) and step mother Ida Salter.

Leroy leaves behind his family to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife of 65 years Betty Salter; two children Beverly McNeill (John) and Patricia Higgins (Ted); eight grandchildren, Beau James McNeill, Nicole Trevino (Toro), Jacqueline McNeill, Rick Biel (Amy), Jeremiah Biel (Kitty), Aaron Biel, Sarah Biel and James Biel; nine great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 10:00a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with Entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
