Librada P. "Lala" Garza

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gumecindo Garza; son,

Reynaldo Garza; daughters, Librada Garza and Sylvia Cisneros; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Gumecindo P. Garza (Esther) of Corpus Christi, Grace Torres (Frank) of Victoria, Yolanda (Diego) Herrera of Corpus Christi, Adelina (Rudy) Ybarra of Corpus Christi and Rosalinda (Joe) Leal of Corpus Christi. She will also be dearly missed by twenty-six grandchildren, 30 great- grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Librada was a great and loving mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law; she was compassionate who always put others first with a beautiful joyous personality that shined; an excellent cook whose door was always open to anyone who was hungry.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
