Lillian was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Dominga Salinas Campos and Benturo Ariga Campos, and her brother, Jesse James Hernandez.
She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her siblings, Julian Jacob Hernandez (Amanda Hernandez), San Juanita "Janie" Trevino, and Emelia “Didi” Campos. She is also survived by her children, Bill Carrazco Jr. (Monica Carrazco), Adam Carrazco, Monica Colunga (Gilberto Colunga Jr.), and Michael Villa (Ruby Quintero).
Lillian was a proud and devoted grandmother to Ashley Marie Carrazco, Marissa Deanna Rodriguez (Isaac Rodriguez), Jonathan Carrazco (Vanessa Farias), Joseph Miguel Carrazco, Gilberto Valentine Colunga III (Jayda Peña), Nevaeh Colunga, Bill Jaylin Carrazco, Michael Villa Jr, and Malachi Villa. Lillian was also a proud great grandmother to Jurmiah Pena, Camila Jacely Carrazco, and Valentino Colunga. She was also looking forward to welcoming her future great-granddaughter, Catalina Carrazco.
Lillian will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, unwavering faith, and deep love for her Savior and the Blessed Mother. Her life was a reflection of service, compassion, and generosity. She had a passion for her family, the outdoors, and caring for her many plants. She was known for offering thoughtful advice, always grounding her words in faith and encouragement. Her family will treasure not only the memories she created but also the beautiful blankets, pillows, crafts, and handmade gifts she lovingly made for every holiday season.
Throughout her life, Lillian dedicated herself to caring for others. She worked for many years at Times Market in Molina, where she gained lifelong friendships and became a mentor and mother figure to many. She attended Del Mar College, becoming a Certified Nurse Assistant, and later spent many years working as a private caregiver. Lillian ensured every client felt valued, loved, and remembered, especially during the holidays. She had a special way of making people feel seen and cared for, often making sure her clients enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal from Bill Miller Bar-B-Q so they would never feel forgotten.
Lillian also worked with Blattner Energy and Irby Construction where she lead many projects as a material analyst, careers that allowed her to travel and enjoy one of her greatest passions: exploring the outdoors. Whether traveling for work or leisure, she always embraced the beauty of nature and cherished every opportunity to experience new places.
Among the countless memories shared by family and friends are Lillian's love for visiting casinos with her daughter and friends, her enthusiasm for traveling, and her joy in singing Adele songs on long road trips and trips to medical appointments. She never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need. She believed no one should go hungry and made it her mission to ensure everyone around her had a meal and knew they were loved.
Lillian's infectious laughter could light up any room. She had a gift for turning difficult situations into manageable ones, always reminding those around her to work smarter, not harder. Family and friends often recall how she could transform a bad day into a good one with her humor, wisdom, and comforting presence.
She found peace in the outdoors, especially while spending time at Lake Mathis, admiring the sunsets and appreciating God's creation. Lillian embraced each day with gratitude, determination, and faith. She saw the good in every situation and encouraged others to do the same. Her strength, resilience, and unwavering trust in God carried her through life's greatest challenges, and she fought courageously until the very end.
As Scripture reminds us:
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
– 2 Timothy 4:7
Though her presence will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she has gained her wings in Heaven and now rests in the loving embrace of the Lord. Her faith, love, laughter, and selfless spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A Mass of The Resurrection will take place at St Joseph's Catholic Church, 710 S 19th St, Corpus Christi, TX 78405, on August 14, 2026, at 12:00 pm, followed by a Committal Service at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St, Corpus Christi, TX 78408, US, on August 14, 2026.
