Lillian Young passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, at the age of 93. She was born on October 10, 1932, in Cuero, Texas, where she spent her early years and later graduated from Duale High School.
Lillian dedicated her professional life to a career in medicine and healthcare, where she cared deeply for others and made a lasting impact through her compassion and commitment.
She had a true passion for gardening and sewing, finding joy in creating beauty and comfort with her hands. Among her family’s favorite memories are the long conversations she shared with loved ones—Lillian was especially known for her love of talking and connecting with people.
She was preceded in death by her loving son, Gary Bernard Floyd, and her devoted siblings: Eleanor Salvala, Albert Young, Aggie Bell Odoms, and Emma Mae Lewis.
Lillian is survived by her loving son, Troy Floyd, who will forever cherish her memory.
