Lola Jayne Reeves

She was born on August 26, 1938, in Baton Rouge, LA, to Clozell and Ruby O’Neal. Jayne could make just about anyone smile. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and friend, not just to her own kin, but to many others. She was a talented artist, not just with paint, but with love. Anyone who met her, immediately felt like they were the only person around.

Jayne is survived by her husband, Slats Reeves, son Mark Reeves (wife, Melodye Reeves), grandchildren, BreAnne and Karlee Reeves (spouses, Silas Reynolds and Tyler Thoem), cousins, Cindy, Sue, Jerry and Stephanie, in-laws, Phillip and Cathy Reeves, Bill and Terry Reeves, Jack and Charlene Durham and numerous nieces and nephews.

The service will be facilitated by Billy Storms and Ralph Willis on Saturday, December 1st, 2012, at 10:00 am, reception to follow at the church. Please join us at Covenant Baptist Church, 7001 Williams Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas.

A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Bay Area Hospital, especially the 3rd floor, ICU and 4th floor. We could point out individuals, but you know who you are.
