Loretta Ann Jacobs Jacobs Witten

Loretta Ann Jacobs Witten, age 59, passed away May 22, 2016. She was born November 15, 1956 to Lawrence M. Jacobs and Betty Ann Ledet Jacobs in Brownsville, Texas. She married her husband, Jimmy, of 42 years on June 1, 1974. Loretta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and cousin. She enjoyed participating in gardening, birding and photography. She will always be remembered for her love of laughter, quiet nature, sense of adventure, service in the community and devotion to family.

Loretta is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence M. “Sonny” Jacobs. She is survived by her best friend and husband, Jimmy Witten, son, James (Lisa) Witten III, daughter, Jamie (Shane) Emerson; grandchildren, Preston, Caleb, Blane, Lincoln and Kennedy; mother, Betty Jacobs, a brother and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Funeral del Angel Memorial Holly. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Solid Rock UPC Church, 5017 Curtis Clark Dr., Corpus Christi, Texas. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
