Lucy enjoyed life and she spread this joy unselfishly to those she loved by sharing her wealth that rose not from money but from her God-given gifts of love, communication, and overall social networking/relationship building and caring genius. She had a computer-like/ rolodex brain on everyone and about everything with excellent listening, and loving 'Dear Abby / Dear Lucy' counseling and advise. Lucy's love for her family, relatives, friends, neighbors, including new acquaintances across all generations was clearly outstanding. Occupationally, Lucy had the toughest job in the family as the Homemaker emeritus. She was also a teacher's aide at Skinner Elementary (West Oso ISD) and a super employee at the K-9 Drive In. She exceeded expectations as the Matriarch of the Noyola family daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and throughout her life. Lucy's job rating is unanimously exemplary and with God's graces she has been promoted to Heaven above.
Lucy had a passion for gardening; she leaves behind the fruits of her labor to include an annual supply of peaches, grapefruits, tangerines from her backyard fruit trees that she has enjoyed sharing with her family, friends and neighbors. Lucy enjoyed the simplest things in life. She especially enjoyed spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, and all those who visited her home. She leaves behind her tamale recipe handed down from Grandma Angelita and her Pan De Tabla Bread from Grandpa Marcelo. She left a heartfelt and historical audio legacy by recording many cassettes of family members and events. Those recordings included her husband's musical compositions, family members singing, sharing stories, jokes, and having fun. Undoubtedly, this was an amazing woman that will be remembered for her God given graces of love, patience, strength, endurance, faith, hope, understanding, and forgiveness. Ms Lucy, Mrs Noyola, Senora Noyola, Mama Noyola, Tia Lucy, as she was affectionately called by her family and friends will be remembered for these virtues and dearly missed by all who knew her.
