

Lydia “Lilly” E. Jackson passed away on June 2, 2012 at the age of 51. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on April 15, 1961.
She is preceded in death by her father, Manuel O. Soliz; her Tia Lile and her sister, Rachel Soliz.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband, Bruce Jackson; sons, Bruce, Jr., Ray and Mathew Jackson; her grandchildren, Jordan Jackson, Kaylee White and Ryyan Jackson and Ahlias Jackson. Lilly is also survived by her mother, Tome Soliz; siblings, Manuel (Dee) Soliz, Cynthia (Jose Luis) Rodriguez, Christine (Michael) Clark and Carmen (Phillip) Martinez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Honoring her as pallbearers will be her nephews, Joseph Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez, John David Soliz, Kevin Gonzales, Kyle Martinez and her son, Ray Jackson.
Lilly was a Tuloso-Midway ’79 graduate, she served in the U.S. Army and after her discharge continued to serve in the Army Reserves. She was employed with Calallen I.S.D. and was an avid Cowboys fan.
The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012 at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles, 3901 Violet Road. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
