

Lydia Lopez entered into the loving arms of Our Lord on May 1, 2026, at the age of 64.She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 31, 1961 to parents, Mary Camacho, and Filberto Bosquez Lopez Sr. She was a woman of strength, compassion, and dedication, whose life was centered around caring for others.
Lydia graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1980 and continued her education at Del Mar College, where she earned her LVN Degree in Nursing in 1982. Nursing was not simply a career for Lydia—it was her calling. She devoted 40 years of her life to serving others through healthcare, offering comfort, kindness, and care to countless patients and families throughout her long and meaningful career. She retired on June 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and service.
Lydia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her family meant everything to her, and she found her greatest joy in the love she shared with them. She was especially proud of her son, grandchildren, and the generations of family she helped nurture and support.
She will be reunited in heaven with her parents, Mary Camacho and Filberto Bosquez Lopez Sr.; sister, Noelia Lopez and brother, Ricardo Lopez.
Lydia’s memory will forever live in her beloved son and daughter in law, David Osvaldo Soliz and Analy Soliz; her cherished granddaughters, Alice Guadalupe Soliz and Caroline Rose Soliz. Siblings, Daniel Lopez, Linda Rivera (Jesus), Nicanor Lopez, Enedlia Lopez Barrera (Emilio), Cynthia Gilbert, Guadalupe Lopez, Eduardo Lopez and Filberto B.Lopez Jr.; as well as her extended family and loved ones who will continue to honor her memory. Lydia will be remembered for her gentle heart, her unwavering dedication to her family, and the compassion she showed to everyone she met. Her legacy of love and service will live on in the many lives she touched.

The Holy Rosary will take place at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, TX 78405, US, on May 12, 2026, at 6:00 pm. A Mass of The Resurrection will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2509 Nogales St, Corpus Christi, TX 78416, US, on May 13, 2026, at 12:00 pm. A Committal Service will be held at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St, Corpus Christi, TX 78408, US, on May 13, 2026.
