Obituary of Lydia Lilly Medrano
Lydia Lilly Medrano, age 80, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 9:20 PM in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on March 13, 1940 in Kingsville, Texas. She is the daughter of Antonio and Romanita Aldaiz. Lydia is one of 17 siblings and is survived by 5 sisters and 2 brothers: Aurora Munoz, Felicita Guana, Elenita Aldaiz Mendoza, Maria Alicia Seibert, John Aldaiz, Richard Aldaiz, and Martha Almanza. She is the loving mother of 8 daughters and 2 sons: Lirio L. Medrano, Jr., Rose Marie Maldonado, Herlinda Sandavol, Gabriel Medrano, Norma Jean Semones, Oralia Medrano Beller, Amanda Medrano Arvizo, Virginia Medrano Garcia, Emilia Medrano Ceja and Esmeralda Lynn. Lydia is the grandmother of 26 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 18 great-grandchildren. A special Rosary will be held at 12:00 PM at St. Theresa Catholic Church, located at 1302 Lantana Street in Corpus Christi, Texas 78407, followed by a Memorial Mass at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. A graveside service will be held in Port Arthur, Texas at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 101 Block Street in Port Neches, Texas 77651, at a later date.
