Magdalena P. Garza

Magdalena P. Garza, 84, passed away on July 22, 2015. She was born August 29, 1930 to Severo and Adelaida Pena in Hebbronville, Texas and was raised in Alice, Texas. She was married to Fernando Ruiz Garza for 34 years before his passing in 1986. Magdalena was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will always be remembered for her strong will, outgoing personality, hard work and devotion to the family. She is survived by her children her 3 daughters, Yolanda (Enrique) Gonzalez, Lolly (Fred) Guerra and Maggie Garza; her 3 sons, Fernando (Tillie) Garza, Rick (Allison) Garza and Robert (Brenda) Garza. She also leaves behind to cherish her memories her 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. Family will be receiving friends on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, July 24, 2015 at ST. Patrick’s Catholic Church with a burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Participating as Pallbearers are: Robert Nicholas Garza, Richard Tanner Garza, Michael Agustin Cuellar, Jimmy Martinez, Joshua Garza and Henry Gonzalez, Jr.
