Magdalena D. Gonzalez

Magdalena ”Maggie” D. Gonzalez, 78, passed away on February 24, 2014. Maggie was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on April 1, 1935 to Juan and Juanita Dominguez. Maggie was one of 12 children. She was the youngest of the girls.

Maggie is preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Gonzalez: her sisters, Virginia, Nicolasa, Adela, Katie, Maria Lupe and her brothers, Raymond and Robert.

Magdalena is survived by her four children, Lupita Castanuela, Joe Ray Gonzalez (Mary), Rose Mary Gonzalez and Maryann Gonzalez. She also leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving grandchildren: Ashlee (Guadalupe), Michelle (Alejos), Joshua, Angelina, Jose Luis, Jacob, Noelia, Adrianna and Elaina; her great-grandchildren, Guadalupe Jaimez III, Jackson Gabriel Jaimez and Joshua Gonzalez, Jr.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel-549 Cheyenne, on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 25, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
