Tio, May you rest in peace. To my dearest tia and loving cousins, my condolences for the loss of a husband, a father and grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. May God bless you and may God comfort your hearts with peace knowing Tio is with him in heaven watching over you. As we all know that life here on earth is temporary and we wait for when the Lord needs another angel. He will be missed by many and he leaves behind many good memories to keep him alive in our hearts. With much love, Lupita Portales

Tio Guero once told me that an educated man always carried a pen. He paid for my textbooks for my first semester at Del Mar in 1965 before I transferred to Michigan State. He also co-sign for the loan on my 1966 VW. He cared. I am sorry that I did not keep with my Mom’s family. Tio Guero, Rest In Peace and give my Dad an Abrazo when you see him on the other side of the horizon. Mi Tia, abrazos en memoria. Dr. Baltazar Arispe y Acevedo, Jr.

Tio Guero always encouraged my educational goals. He bought my textbooks for my first semester at Del Mar before I transferred to Michigan State. He also co-signed for the loan for my amazing 1966 VW. I am saddened that I became too busy to stay in touch with my Mom’s amazing family. Thank you Tio and Tia Tilde. Rest and do say hola to my Dad when you see him on the other side of the horizon. Abrazos en memoria. Dr. Baltazar Arispe y Acevedo, Jr.

My mom adored Tio Guero. She was so proud of him. I could feel the love, when she would talk about him. He was always so good to her, and us, as well. He had a gift of making us all feel special when we were children, and as adults, we truly enjoyed his company.
He will be deeply missed
