Manuel O. Cavazos, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. He was born on January 25, 1923 in Kingsville, TX. Manuel worked for several years before his retirement at Memorial Hospital. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed working on small carpentry projects. Manuel also enjoyed collecting toys. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family and his love of dancing.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Angelina Cavazos.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory a son, Manuel Cavazos; step-daughter, Francis Lozano; sister Esperanza Everett; brother, Rosendo Cavazos and grandchildren, Angie Lozano and Olga (Danny) Trejo.
Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. the same evening. Funeral service is scheduled Friday, September 23, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Funeraria Del Angel . Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
