Manuel Gallardo Sr.

He was born on September 16, 1936 to the late Saragosa Gallardo and Carmen Elizabeth Mendoza Armadillo in Sinton, Texas.

Manuel married his wife of 66 years, Dorine Maria Gallardo on September 20, 1953.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Emilio Armadillo.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dorine; children, Manuel Gallardo Jr., Francisco Gallardo, Debra Gallardo Cook, Richard Gallardo and Rebecca Lambert; grandchildren, Melanie Garza Salinas, Cynthia Garza, Rogelio Garza III, Myra Guzman, Manuel Gallardo III, Richard Gallardo Jr., Patricia Gallardo Jackson, Veronica Gallardo, Alex Rios and Jalina Lambert; great grandchildren, Adan Rodriguez, Jordan Rodriguez, Kailey Rodriguez, Nevaeh Garza Acosta, Julio Acosta Jr., Devaeh Acosta, Andrew Gallardo, Xavier Gallardo, Joshua Guzman, Jay Guzman, Liandra Rios, Adalie Rios, Derek Rodriguez, Angel Rodriguez, Hudson Gallardo, Lincoln Gallardo, Eliot Gallardo, Taylor Jackson, Austin Jackson and Wesley Jackson; siblings, Benny, Paul, Danny, Elias, David, Lupita, Martina and Ester Armadillo and Dina Gallardo Olivas.

Manuel loved being with his family and grandchildren and enjoyed the company of his dog, Chico. He also enjoyed wood crafting and built many pieces of furniture.

Due to the Corona Virus Shelter in Place, no public visitation will be held. The prayer service will be available through Facebook live streaming at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2020 through the Funeraria Del Angel – Cheyenne page.
