Manuel Dario Rico, age 51, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 7, 2019. He was born in Guadalajara, Mexico on August 1, 1967 to Juan Manuel Rico and Maria Tamez. Manuel was a hardworking mechanic for nearly all of his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Rico; his uncle, Ignacio Cruz and his grandmother, Catalina Tamez.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Rico; daughter: Daisy Rico; mother: Maria B. Rico; sisters: Letecia Rico and Lupita Rico; step-sons: Jesus Firo and Capone Firo.
Manuel loved playing guitar and was learning to play the accordion. He loved 70’s and 80’s rock and roll and especially loved, “Bad Moon Rising” by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
