Marcel Alfredo Branscomb

Beloved infant son, Marcel Alfredo Branscomb, age 1 month and 10 days, went to his heavenly home on July 20, 2023. He was born in Corpus Christi on June 10, 2023. Though Marcel spent just a brief time in this world he experienced countless hugs and kisses, quiet moments with mom and dad, and endless giggles and smiles from his sisters. Marcel touched the lives of so many in his tiny life.

Marcel will forever remain his parents’ precious baby and they will hold him again in heaven one day, but for now, Marcel joins his grandmother, Melissa Martinez; grandfather Christobal Martinez; and great-great-grandmother, Elida Cantu in heaven.

Left to cherish the memory of this beautiful baby boy are his parents, Krysten Starr Maldonado and Jar’Queryous Branscomb; great-grandparents, Sylvia and Alfredo Martinez, and Nikki and Damon Thompson; grandfather, Jesse Maldonado; sisters, Meilani Melissa Branscomb and Mahogany Simone Branscomb; aunts, Brittany (James) Silva, Brianna (Cesar) Hernandez-Platz, Rita (Chris) Ramon, Veronica (Robert) Cortez, and Jade Thompson; mom’s best friends, Danielle Ewers and Neleena Salazar; uncles, Demtrius Porter and Jordyn Thompson; and cousins, Lexy, Alex, Isaac, Marissa, Gabby, Bella, Jadynn, Zeke, Matty, Derek, Madison, Lavaya, Addy, Emery, and Noah.

A special thank you to the Quintero and Garza families for their efforts in organizing the fundraiser benefit for Baby Marcel. The family would also like to express their sincere gratitude for all of the donations and prayers.

A public visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug 2, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment to be held at a later date.
