Marcia Elaine Autry, known to all her friends as Lane, was born on August 2, 1922 and died quietly on October 23, 2011 after a short illness. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Aaron Autry. She is also survived by three children, Martha Gilmore, Parker Autry and John Autry and by five grandchildren, Shay Gilmore, Daniel Gilmore, Jessica Autry Carpenter, Amber Autry and Melissa Autry. A memorial service for Lane will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 2:00 in the afternoon at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church on Airline.
