

Sue was active in the Camp Fire Girls organization and helped with the restoration of the Guggenheim House located in Heritage Park. She enjoyed gardening, the Dallas Cowboys, needlework and loved to watch hummingbirds from her back porch swing. Her family and grandchildren were the love of her life. She was kind, a true southern gal and always placed others before herself. As a Navy wife, raising six kids, she ran a tight ship.
She is preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Floreine, Jean, Gladys and Clydeine.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 69 years, Cmdr. John J. Foley (USN.RET); children, Susan Cuevas (Luis), Jay Foley, Tim Foley (Linda), Carol Robertson, Lynn Fernand (Peter) and Kelly Schumaker (Sam).
Sue is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment services will be private.
