Maria Ofelia Castillo Ramirez, 65, passed away on October 15, 2015 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on April 2, 1950 in Matehuala, SLP, Mexico to Luis Ramirez and Santiaga Garcia. Maria is preceded in death by her parents; 2 children, Maria Dolores Castillo, Guillermo “Willie” Castillo Jr., 3 sisters and 1 brother. She leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Guillermo Castillo; and their 5 children, Esther Castillo Garcia (Hector), Gilberto Castillo, Jose Guadalupe Castillo; 2 sisters; 4 brothers; her 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Jo Anna Castillo. Ofelia also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
