Maria Teresa “Terry”, 64, entered into eternal rest on March 18, 2016. She was born on September 29, 1951 in Lubbock, Texas but shortly after, moved to Corpus Christi. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. For the last 15 years she was employed at the Port Aransas Independent School District where she found much joy in interacting with the students and staff. All thos who kner her loved her and she will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jesus Angel Chaires Sr.
She is survived by her loving mother, Adelfa S. Chaires, brother Jesus A. Chaires Jr; nephew, Jesus A. Chaires III and nice Priscilla A. Capetillo (Simon). Others which are close to the family are Namouna Dee Moon, Tosha Vargas, David Galvan III, Yolanda and Jose Zavala Jr.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Road with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel – Memorial Holly at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
