Maria was my sister in law, things i remember of her was when she would take care of me and my brother jr and she would always give us maria cookies, she once took me and my sister gloria on vacation to Colorado and to Saltillo to go visit her family, Maria will be missed by all of us when she would come visit us here at the valley.

I have fond memories of Maria from as far back as my early childhood. She was a class act - always dressed really well, spoke directly to anyone she met, and most of all, she cared so much for my Mom and our family. She always encouraged me to do well in school and I never forgot that. Even though she was a tough lady at times, you always knew where you stood with her. I also remember she loved to read a special empathy poem at every funeral, including one for my nephews and my Mom. This time, it is our turn to read it for her. May God Bless the rest of our family during this difficult time.
